Robert Bingham, MSS, LSW, RSMT, PhD(dance)

Robert is a licensed social worker/therapist who supports clients in moving past barriers of anxiety and/or depression, towards futures of creativity, purpose and joy. Robert strives to create a welcoming, non-judgmental space where clients can slow down, connect with their inner wisdom, and discover what is truly possible for them. Clients who work with Robert are invited to bring compassionate awareness to what is anxious or hurting, often with attention to how feelings are experienced in the body. This approach allows them to express and release what they are ready to let go of, clearing space for new patterns of thought, feeling and action. Robert believes the roots of well-being are already within, and he supports clients in tapping into their inner strengths as they work towards realizing their goals.

Robert has served diverse populations in community-based outpatient, hospital and private practice settings. He has worked in universities as both a therapist and educator. Drawing on his background as a dance artist, writer and Registered Somatic Movement Therapist, Robert frequently integrates mindfulness, somatic and creative processes into therapy sessions.

In his free time, Robert is a Yoga teacher, dog lover and art enthusiast who enjoys being outdoors as much as possible.
